These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases of tableware products (including stoneware plates, bowls, mugs, dinner sets, serving dishes, and related accessories; collectively “Products”) from TableJoy (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) via our official website, authorized retailers, or direct sales channels. By placing an order, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms provided at checkout.

1. Order Acceptance & Confirmation

  • Your order constitutes a request to purchase Products. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel orders (e.g., due to incorrect pricing, out-of-stock items, suspected fraud, or mismatched custom specifications). A binding contract is formed only when we send an “Order Confirmation” email with your order number and details.
  • For custom Products (e.g., engraved mugs, personalized dinner sets with family names, or custom-color tableware), a 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon order placement. We will provide a digital mockup within 2 business days for your approval; production begins only after you confirm the design. Custom orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded once production starts (unless the Product is defective).

2. Payment Terms

  • We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Afterpay (for installment plans). All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars.
  • Listed prices exclude applicable sales tax (calculated by your shipping address) and shipping fees, which are added at checkout. We may correct pricing errors (e.g., typos, system glitches) and will notify you promptly; you may cancel the order if you disagree with the revised price.
  • For Afterpay installment plans, late fees or interest may apply per Afterpay’s terms. Failed or declined payments may result in order cancellation, with the non-refundable deposit (for custom orders) forfeited.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship to all 50 U.S. states, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Standard shipping (3–5 business days) costs $9.99; orders over $75 qualify for free standard shipping. Expedited shipping (1–2 business days) is available for $24.99; remote areas or territories may incur additional freight fees (contact support@tablejoy.com for a quote).
  • All Products are packaged in shock-absorbent materials (bubble wrap, foam inserts, and reinforced boxes) to prevent damage. You must inspect the package immediately upon delivery:
    • If the box is damaged or contents are broken, take photos of the packaging and damaged Products, then contact us within 24 hours. We will send replacements or issue a full refund (including shipping fees) at no cost to you.
    • Failure to report damage within 24 hours may void our responsibility for replacements or refunds.
  • Delivery dates are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or incorrect shipping addresses provided by you.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Eligible non-custom Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding original shipping fees), provided they are unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original packaging (including tags, inserts, and boxes).
  • To initiate a return:
    1. Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number via our website.
    2. Ship the Products back to us (you cover return shipping costs; we recommend insured, trackable delivery).
    3. We will inspect the return within 3 business days of receipt. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days if the return meets our criteria.
  • Non-returnable items include: custom Products (unless defective), used/washed tableware, clearance items (marked “Final Sale”), and gift cards.

5. Product Warranty

  • All TableJoy Products come with a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship (e.g., cracks, chips, or glazing issues that occur under normal use).
  • The warranty does not cover:
    • Damage from misuse (e.g., dropping, microwaving non-microwave-safe items, or using abrasive cleaners).
    • Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor scratches from regular use, fading of custom engravings over time).
    • Damage caused by third-party handling (e.g., carrier errors after delivery, unless reported within 24 hours).
  • To claim warranty service: Provide your order number, photos of the defect, and a description of the issue. We will repair, replace, or refund the defective Product at our discretion; we cover shipping costs for warranty replacements.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (product images, descriptions, logos, custom design templates) is owned by TableJoy and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without our written permission.
  • Custom designs (e.g., personalized engravings) are licensed for your personal use only; you may not resell or commercialize Products with custom designs without our approval.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use of the Product, inconvenience, or costs of preparing meals without the Product) arising from defective Products, shipping delays, or order cancellations. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected Product.

8. Changes to Terms & Dispute Resolution

  • We may update these Terms periodically; changes will be posted on our website and take effect 7 days after publication. Your continued purchases after the effective date constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved via good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in New York (per the American Arbitration Association rules) rather than litigation.
